\nHybrid Visible Light Communications and Augmented Reality Platform for the Development of Smart Driver Assistance and Vehicle Active Safety Systems<\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong>
\nThe project aims to develop a new V2X communications architecture, analyzing the two main communication modalities, interconnecting this architecture with other communication mechanisms (by visible light – VLC, augmented reality – IV-AR), and developing new cooperative driving assistance applications which can also be integrated into autonomous vehicles.<\/p>\n

Phase 1: STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE FOR V2X COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Study of communication methods in ad-hoc vehicular networks<\/li>\n
  2. Implementation of software components for interconnection of devices within the software architecture of the communication module<\/li>\n
  3. Implementation of the software architecture for the V2X communication module<\/li>\n
  4. Study and Implementation of Effective Algorithms for Encrypting Information Transmitted in Vehicle Networks<\/li>\n
  5. Software Architecture Testing<\/li>\n
  6. Study of the methods for designing and digitizing complex holograms<\/li>\n
  7. Study of hologram compression algorithms<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Phase 2: INTERCONNECTING THE V2X COMMUNICATION MODULE WITH OTHER INTER & INTRA VEHICLE COMMUNICATION MODULES<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Designing the interconnection technology between the V2X communication module and the visible light communication module (VLC)<\/li>\n
    2. Designing the interconnection technology between the V2X communication module and the augmented reality module (IV-AR)<\/li>\n
    3. Software implementation of interconnection modules<\/li>\n
    4. Testing the interconnection modules within the software architecture<\/li>\n
    5. Organization of Workshop on Inter and Intra Vehicle Communication Technologies<\/li>\n
    6. Implementation and design of the digitized hologram generation and compression interface<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Phase 3: IMPLEMENTATION OF COOPERATIVE APPLICATIONS FOR DRIVING ASSISTANCE AND AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES <\/strong><\/p>\n
